Our angels in the sky
This man has been suffering from a long term kidney disease and for the last few months has been on home renal dialysis. He has received a “new kidney” from a deceased donor but unfortunately the kidney is not working as well as it should and he needs to be seen in Adelaide every week for assessment and review. He would normally undertake an exhausting journey by bus, overnight (8 hrs ), then back to Cleve the next day by bus. He returns sleepless and physically drained after the road travel but until now there was no other alternative.

This mission was featured online in the Eyre Peninsula Tribune.

The only other alternative was a two-day journey by road, an extra burden on Taij’s Dad, Kirk, and Taij’s two older brothers, Jye [3] and Brayden [9] and their grandmother Marion who is travelling with them.

This mission was featured in Sunraysia Daily News.
