Justin MacIntosh - Pilot

Angel flight 1 by Justin MacIntosh
This is Justin's 23rd Angel flight

Comment by Justin

"Landed at Hay from Adelaide on time but with blustery south westerly winds. Met Kathryn, Mark and baby Kristian. Loaded luggage and Kristian in his baby capsule. Took off to the east in clear conditions with a 20 knot tail wind all the way into Bankstown for an on time landing. Bit bumpy as usual over the Blue Mountains, but otherwise very smooth conditions."

Robert Hughes - Pilot

Angel flight 2 by Robert Hughes
This is Robert's 5th Angel flight

Comment by Robert

"Trip began close to schedule. The filed IFR plan was downgraded to VFR due aircraft equipment failure (one VHF). Light, clear air turbulence was present on climb and inital cruise at 6,500' but was smooth at 8,500'. Some turbulence on descent and arrival.

Mum Kathryn with Kristian

Baby Kristian is a very beautiful little boy with a great smile. He is being prepared for a bionic ear insert as he was born deaf. This should be done before he is six months, so his speech is not affected. His parents are totally committed to this little fellow's welfare, as is his grandfather whom I met.

Robert with Kristian

They have a positive attitude and I was honoured to assist the family in helping Kristian."
