"Well it was a lovely day for it yesterday. We arrived into Bankstown at about 14.35 local and found that Louise and Denise had just arrived. It was a very warm afternoon with the temperature being quoted at 31 C.

After some photos it was time to get underway but unfortunately there was at least a 20 minute delay for an airways clearance. The Richmond Control Zone was active so that complicated any plan of escape we may have had.

Once underway it was a lovely ride through to Inverell at 10,000’ with not a cloud in sight, which is not good as far as the farmers are concerned but it certainly gave us some great views. By top of climb the aircraft had cooled down nicely and Denise was now catching up on a few ZZZ’s and only woke again during descent into Inverell. Louise could not be tempted with a drink or a snack and was happy just to be heading home again.

It was an even better ride southbound again this time at 9000’, with the sun setting as we went overhead Tamworth. A crystal clear evening gave us some great views of the city of Sydney at night.

Another most enjoyable Mission!"
