INITIAL TRIP REQUEST

Twelve month old Matilda from Robinvale near Swan Hill needed to undergo a pre-operative assessment for a Cochlear Implant.

Due to financial hardship and the distance to Melbourne the family would not have been able to continue this process without assistance from Angel Flight.

"The flight went okay except for a minor technical issue leaving Essendon, which resulted in the loss of all radios for a few minutes! The weather was not perfect as cloud cover prevented climbing above the weather due to icing above 10,000, and it was a bit bumpy below the clouds. It improved as the flight progressed but the passengers were a little uncomfortable by the end."
