Thirty-five year old Rowley is a father of 8 and was diagnosed with advanced rectal cancer and is required to undergo 6 weeks of chemo and radiation therapy in Sydney.

This Angel Flight is for a treatment to shrink the tumour before surgery.

"Beautiful day for a fly. Cloud on ground at Mt Victoria which required a VFR on top sector & decent through broken cumulus between Katoomba & Prospect. Bankstown was operating special VFR due rainshowers but once there & for the rest of the flight no problems.Nice smooth ride most of the way. Both Rowley & Warren were relaxed & I think glad to be out of the City for a while."

"Very uneventful flight.(Just what we always hope for). Best visibility in Sydney that I can remember. Could actually see the CBD from Bankstown.The standout moment of the flight was to see the support that Rowley is getting from the 25 or more friends & family that turned up at BRE airport to wish him well.Only wish I had the camera with me this time. "
