SUBSEQUENT TRIP REQUEST: 7th flight.

Thirty-eight year old Lee from Surat was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed radiation therapy in Brisbane. This involves 6 weeks of radiation Monday to Thursday.

This Angel Flight was to get Lee home each weekend before recommencing therapy each Monday.

"What a wonderful experience it was to complete my first Angel Flight. My passengers first words to me when we met were how much she was looking forward to getting home, and her last were how happy she was to be home again ... it was a unique experience to see her joy in arriving at her destination.

I felt a great deal of pleasure in knowing that through Angel Flight I had been able to help my passenger avoid a long and arduous journey immediately following a gruelling week of treatment. The flight itself was smooth and trouble free. I look forward to being able to plan my next Angel Flight."
