INITIAL TRIP REQUEST

Fifty-seven year old Julie has Lung Cancer and was in the Alfred Hospital undergoing treatment. As her family are on a very limited income, Angel Flight saved Julie a tiring 6 hour car journey home to Mildura for her and her daughter.

"It was great to welcome Julie and her daughter Nicole onboard for Julie's first trip in a 'little' plane. Fortunately the weather was good (although the clouds obscured most of the view) and the winds kind so we arrived at Mildura to a waiting (different) daughter right on time. Jane (my partner - who came along) & I wish Julie all the best in her battle with her illness and we hope not to have to see her on board again!"
