flight 1 by Tony Taggart Comment by Tony "You blokes have been getting me up so early that I didn't even read the notes for this morning wherein you changed the time on me by putting the pick up back an hour. I thought that Jacque had stood me up. Anyway I rang her when I realized that pick up was 09:15 and not 08:00. She was great and arrived about 08:40. In the meantime I had a good look around the YWG airport and spoke to a few people and soaked up a bit of gossip. One of the fellows was there doing some ultra light lessons and we found out that last week he lost everything but his two cattle dogs and his photo album before the fires down Hamilton Vic way burned everything else to the ground. He was quite philosophical about it all. Anyway we had a good trip back. Jacquie was pleased to see that I had my red boots on!!" |
