"Well everything that could go wrong did. Plane, Weather, Flight Planning, Broken Fuel Pump, district Black Out and not allowed to land at William Town. So I will tell you of the things that did go right. Had a great couple .Both young with a little girl about 4 months old with a hole in the heart. I got them to Newcastle 2 hours late which was not a concern as they did not have any appointments until the next day. Bill was our earth angel and with out any fuss picked us up at Maitland and drove us wherever for both days. The couple were two hours late to be picked up so Bill and I went to the hobby shop and I bought a model helicopter and as Bill had one I had to buy the next best one . Still had some time to kill so had ice creams and a thick shake each then it was time to go home. Left on the dead line and arrived with out incident in Brewarina. The baby's little hole in the heart is getting smaller and I got a box of chocolates and a card as thank you and I much appreciated this as I had a one and a half hour flight home in the dark. Skipping over the tree tops to see if there were any Roos and Emu's and to have a look at some of our old country I pulled up over Walget in to the darkening sky for a smooth flight home in the dark so as to keep up my night hours. Except for the rain I had to fly through at Scone it was a great flight. Peter and Natalie getting to where they had to get to and having a good outcome with their baby Janayah. Now I have to practice flying my model as the next time I go to Newcastle Bill and I have a flying competition on."
