SUBSEQUENT TRIP REQUEST: 8th & 9th Angel flight.

A Bairnsdale family have been making regular trips to Monash Medical Centre so their 2 year old son Elijah can be reviewed for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. This Angel flight was for one of those trips, at the request of their paediatrician.

"Total mission time was 1hr 59 minutes. Very heavy smoke haze from all the fires down here, in fact the worst that I have ever seen. Surprisingly from ground to 3000 ft it was fine and from 7000 ft and above it was glorious. The flying was super smooth which was a bonus (must be the Red Boots!!).

Amanda and Elijah seem to enjoy the flight, and I'm pleased that the little bloke is responding very well to his treatment. He's been through a good deal. Amanda seems much brighter and cheerful which is really nice, as she is a very pleasant young lady. Best wishes."
