SUBSEQUENT TRIP REQUEST: 4th & 5th Angel flights.

Three year old Crystal-Rose from Nambucca Heads has been receiving chemotherapy for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in Sydney since January 2005. This Angel flight was for a medical review and treatment after returning home in late 2005.

"The mission was completed successfully yesterday. Emma and her daughters were waiting at the GA terminal at Coffs Harbour with her mother to see them off. The 2 girls were very excited to be going on a flight to Sydney. The flight departed at 09:26am and climbed through cloud to be visual on top. The conditions were very smooth and the girls played for a while and then went to sleep. I have a couple of photos of the girls in the back seat of the plane below.

We descended through thick cloud in the Sydney basin to conduct a GPS approach into Bankstown airport, landing at 11:30am. The Earth Angel was there to meet us and departed shortly after with Emma and her daughters for Westmead.

Overall, the mission went exactly as planned. Full credit to yourselves for the organisation and for my part it was a pleasure to be given the opportunity to provide a service to this delightful family. I look forward to my next Angel Flight mission and would be happy to take Emma and her daughters again. I sincerely hope that they enjoyed the flight and that they receive good news from the medical review and treatment in Sydney. "
