17 year old Ryan was in Royal Brisbane Hospital ICU after a severe road accident. His mother, who is based in Perth, rushed to be by his side leaving her other nine year old son in the care of family friends back in Perth. This Angel flight was to reunite the family in Brisbane for Christmas.
