Baby Jakob was born in August 2005 and diagnosed with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (severe joint contractions). His mother Cassandra was told her son may never walk. The doctor in Darwin referred them to an orthopaedic specialist surgeon in Sydney for a second opinion. The specialist has expertise that isn't offered anywhere else in Australia that can assist the four month old with treatment and surgery. This requires regular two monthly visits to Sydney for some duration. Whilst the family have flown to the initial appointment, the continuing visits will constrain the finances. This Angel flight was for one of those visits.
