MISSION 86 - POREPUNKAH / ESSENDON / POREPUNKAH

SUBSEQUENT TRIP (7TH AND 8TH ANGEL FLIGHT) – Paul is 84 and is receiving chemotherapy for cancer of the bone marrow. His first round of treatment promoted acute nausea and loss of coordination and was exacerbated after traveling by train and road to and from the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in East Melbourne.

You can read about a previous Angel Flight mission for Paul (M75).

Angel Flights 1&2 by David Pratt

"This was David’s maiden mission and he enjoyed helping make life a little easier for Paul.

"I’ve flown mercy missions for cancer patients in the past and saw Angel Flight as a wonderful way of continuing my community service. Actually being able to directly see the impact of my donation to Paul is very rewarding. It’s the direct involvement that makes the difference."

Due to weather conditions this mission was ‘touch and go’ right up to the morning of the flight.

Many thanks to David for remaining on standby right up to the morning of the flight.
