This was the first appointment at the Royal Far West in Sydney for 6 year old and 4 year old brothers. The eldest has severe behavioural and psychiatric disabilities including ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder); PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). The younger brother is also showing signs of these disorders and therefore both children were required to see specialists. A long road or rail trip would have been extremely traumatic for the family.

"Collected the family at Manly at 1030 and delivered them to Bankstown at 1140 - traffic on the north side was quite heavy. Jeff Hutchinson was waiting with VH-YER. They took off for Lightning Ridge at 1215.

Also had the pleasure of meeting Bill Bristow (and VH-NGG) at Bankstown."
